  2. Labels refer to album title as "Live at the Scholar," but the cover reads "12 String Blues." All songs recorded live at Scholar Coffeehouse, aside from three instrumentals [Sweet Louise (A5), Sunrise (B2), You Left Me Standing (B7)]/5.

Grande virtuosista della chitarra acustica, sia 6 che 12 corde proprio come è intitolato l'album, Leo Kottke riesce a coniugare Blues, Ragtime, Folk, Country e anche la Musica Classica. Totalmente strumentale, sicuramente uno dei suoi migliori lavori/5().
